Platinum CTS (“Platinum CTS”, “we”, “us”) provides chauffeured transportation in Foley, Alabama and the surrounding Baldwin County area. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or book a ride, how we use it, and the choices you have. There are no forms on this website; we take reservations by phone, text message and email.
When you contact us to book a ride we collect the details needed to provide the service: your name, phone number and email address, pickup and drop-off locations, dates and times, the number of passengers, flight details for airport transfers, and any special requests. If you pay a deposit or fare by card, the payment is processed by our card processor; we do not store full card numbers on this website.
Our website uses Google Analytics (through the MonsterInsights plugin) to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. This information is aggregated and does not identify you by name. Our web host also keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
When you give us your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Platinum CTS about your reservation, such as confirmations, reminders and chauffeur arrival updates. Message frequency depends on your bookings. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP or call (251) 202-3201 for assistance. We do not share your mobile number or text message opt-in with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our card payment processor, our phone and messaging carriers and Google Analytics, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect the rights and safety of Platinum CTS, our chauffeurs, our passengers or the public.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to book a ride, because reservations are made by phone, text or email.
Our website links to our Facebook and Instagram pages and to Gaillard Tech Services, the company that built this site. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
We keep reservation records for as long as we need them to run the business, handle questions about past trips and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. Reservations must be made by an adult.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised, and the current version will always be posted here.
